The forum focuses on brain-inspired intelligence, dedicated to building an international and professional platform for innovation exchange that integrates cutting-edge academic achievements, transformative R&D technologies, and key industry scenarios, thereby promoting the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation.

Background

The Pujiang Innovation Forum(PIF), China's flagship international platform for innovation and future industries, upholds the long-term theme of "Sharing Innovation, Shaping the Future. "With a global perspective and technological frontiers, the forum highlights internationalization, specialized focus, and youth-driven innovation. It has evolved into a pivotal hub for deepening international collaboration and exchanges in science and technology, and a key platform for the transfer of major scientific and technological achievements, and a premier gathering place for global scientists, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors.

As a special forum of the 2026 Pujiang Innovation Forum, the Future Industry Frontier Forum on Brain-inspired Intelligence & the 2nd International Conference on Neuromorphic Photonics centers on brain-inspired intelligence. In 2024, the 1st International Conference on Neuromorphic Photonics was successfully initiated and held by the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in Shanghai, bringing together top experts and scholars in fundamental photonics research at home and abroad. The conference facilitated high-level academic exchanges across different fields of neuromorphic photonics and greatly advanced the development of the discipline.

In 2026, leveraging the development opportunities of the brain-inspired intelligence industry, the forum will bring together world-leading scientific research institutions, benchmark enterprises and investment institutions. It will build an integrated platform for academic exchanges, technology exhibitions, industrial docking and investment &financing cooperation. By achieving major breakthroughs in the fundamental theories and core technologies of neuromorphic photonics, the forum aims to enable key application scenarios, facilitate the efficient transformation of cutting-edge innovations, and drive deep synergy between global innovation resources and China's industrial scenarios.
