Biography:
Zongnian Chen holds the professional titles of Senior Engineer and Senior Economist. He served as a Deputy to the 13th National People’s Congress and a Delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he is the Chairman of CETHIK Group Co., Ltd.
With solid expertise spanning technology and corporate management, Mr. Chen has in-depth theoretical foundations for innovation and abundant hands-on practical experience. Adhering to persistent reform and continuous innovation, he has led the successful transformation of a traditional research institute into a large state-owned high-tech enterprise group.He has been conferred a series of prestigious honors and awards, including the First National Outstanding Engineer Team Award (as team leader), Zhejiang Provincial Grand Science and Technology Award (as team leader), National Innovation Pioneer Award, Model Worker of Central Enterprises, Most Respected Chairman of China Listed Companies, Golden Chairman Award of China Capital Market, Distinguished Hangzhou Entrepreneur from the World Hangzhou Entrepreneurs Convention, Zhejiang Economic Figure of the Year, Meritorious Entrepreneur of Zhejiang Province, Reform Pioneer of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Outstanding Operator of Top Ten Industrially Contributive Enterprises in Hangzhou, and the 5th Outstanding Talent of Hangzhou.
