Biography:
Cheng Tangsheng is Co-founder and CEO of Lightstandard. He pursued his doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Harish Bhaskaran, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering at the Department of Materials, University of Oxford, a world-leading authority on phase-change materials for photonic computing. His research focuses on photonic computing chip design, physical-layer architecture and industrial engineering implementation. He leads the hardware architecture development of photonic computing systems, as well as the on-chip integration and deployment technologies combining phase-change materials with silicon photonics.
