Biography:
Prof. Xiangping Li joined the Institute of Photonics Technology in Jinan University as a full professor and research leader in nanophotonic devices group in 2015. His research is focused on nanophotonics, metasurfaces and optical multiplexing. He has published over 120 internationally referred journal publications including Science, Nature Photonics, and Nature Nanotechnology. Prof. Li is a recipient of a number of prestigious awards including China’s Young 1000 talents Award in 2015, Distinguished Young Scholars from National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2015 and Outstanding Scholars from National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2023, and elected Optica Fellow in 2025.
