Zhouchen Lin

Biography:
Zhouchen Lin is Vice Dean and Boya Distinguished Professor at the School of Intelligence, Peking University. His research interests cover machine learning and computer vision. He has authored more than 390 papers in top‑tier AI journals and conferences, and published five monographs in both Chinese and English, with over 45,000 Google Scholar citations. He has served as Area Chair and Senior Area Chair for numerous premier academic conferences. He received the First Prize of Natural Science Award from CAA (2024), CAAI (2023), and CCF (2020), as the first recipient for all three awards. He is the former Chair of the Machine Vision Technical Committee of the China Society for Image and Graphics (CSIG), and Deputy Director of the Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Technical Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation. He is a Fellow of IAPR, IEEE, CSIG and CCF. He is also a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and Principal Investigator of the Major Project under the STI Innovation 2030‑“New Generation Artificial Intelligence” Initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
